  • Perhaps a better name would be "Dealing with Platitudes on Job Loss DVDs".

  • Bad bosses are responsible for the bad economy.

  • Even admitting it won't help yhou replace your job in a bad economy and bad city with a bad unemployment rate. MSI laid me and 190 others off and did not do anything for us or help us get unemployment or other jobs. I have never felt so bad in my life. The REAL unemployment rate in Portland is 35-55% in the call center industry. There are No jobs. I have been on 117 interviews and it has been over a year and NO job. The Worksource division won't help you and considers you nothing but a number.

  • This film is very valuble for the people who suffer from job loss. I hope many people will see it.

My own film is very complementary. It's called: "Time is Gold," and is on Youtube. It's suggestions are very similar to yours.

I would love to have contact with people like yourself who are trying to help loss who are disoriented by their job loss. Jerome Liss, M.D. j.liss@fastwebnet.it

  • good info!!!

  • I was just told that I would be losing my job, along with everbody in my department, due to the economy. For the most part, I saw that it was coming for a while. Right now I do not have a lot of strong feelings about the lose of my job. I was planning to leave in the future two years, so this just pushed up my time frame. What I worry about, being a single household, is packing up and moving to a larger market to find a new job. I have to sell my house and prepare. This makes me nervous.
