its true. hit and maintain ure balance point, and you can balance almost anything if you can get most of your weight over the back axel(or have power to compensate)

You are 100% correct. The hardest thing I had to get over was letting totally off the gas as soon as it hit balance because I always had it in the back of my head that I was gonna flip. I'm no pro by any means, but I can at least ride them for a little while. Some learn quicker than others too. I ride with a guy that just got his first bike and could ride a 30 second wheelie by the end of summer!

I know, some people are just f-in sick!! i hope to have my wheelie down by summer. I have a two brothers exhaust on myn and it sounds pretty damn good for a 250 but I do want a bigger bike in the future.

yea, thats has been my biggest problem, i back out too much and by then its too late, ive seen way too many people just leaving it pegged and looping out, so yea, ive seen people riding em and yea its throttle bursts, id rather take some months of hopping than tryin to walk it in a week and busting my ass LOL

yea, a streetbike will have a different throttle response, but the procedure/physics are close...

My buddy can wheelie for miles and he learned on a dirtbike. Great way to start! Of course engine response will be different on every machine, but just getting used to being up there is the most important part. Also when you are giving it gas to stay up, just remember only give it very slight throttle bursts. That is the hardest thing to get over is not going full to nothing as soon as it goes up. Start small, and you will get it.
