I have a Fernandes Native Elite with sustainer for sale on ebay right now. There is 5 days left on the auction and the price is at $200 right now. Check it out it is a beautiful guitar.
Nice playing - nice vid.

it sounds a little out of tune. did you ever have troubling tuning it? cuz i have a fernandes and its intonation is awful

I have discovered a brilliant pedal combination with my sustainer-I am using a vintage 80's tc electronic parametric eq sustain pedal into a sabine fuzzstortion pedal.Amazing!Instantly transformed my sound from inspirationally great to unbelievable.I was able to cop Mick Ronson's tone in seconds, and I only have a 1x12" 25watt combo amplifier.I was looking for a hotcake overdrive pedal(they are the standard favourite here for distortion) when I came upon these two pedals.Lovely little boxes!

are you able to do pull ups using a tremsetter? (some people call it a reverse divebomb). I heard by some people you couldnt but then one guy who owns/owned 7 tremsetters said you could so i just wanted to make sure.
hey, how well does the tremsetter make the bridge stay in tune?

When the tremsetter is dialed in right, most trem use won't put you out of tune, sting bends won't put you out of tune, and small to medium tuning changes won't pull you out of tune. Break a string and, yes, it'll be out of tune. Dive bomb repeatedly and, yes, you'll be out of tune, although often it won't be by too much. I put a D-tuna on this thing when I put the emgs in, and when I change tuning from d to e there is some pitch problems but that is more from the d-tuna not always sitting right

I recently found a couple of Fernandes guitars on ebay pretty cheap(a retro-rocket and a monterey)- both have the sustainer system, but the single toggle mini version and a push-pull pot. Please tell me what if any in your opinion is the newer 2 mini toggle sustainer guitars' advantages?I've not yet tried a new version since they tend to be more expensive here in Germany.Any insights would be really apreciated, and nice playing!Thanks-Iris

I haven't tried the newer sustainer units, but as far as I can tell the only difference is that the new units have the option of a "blend" mode that has both the regular sustain and the harmonic sustain together. The older single toggle units can only use one mode at a time, selected by the push/pull knob. I guess the advantage on the newer ones is another sound to play with, and I'm sure it's fun. I'd rather save my money though. The next step in sustainers is the moog guitar which costs a mint

Yea awesome!!
Whats the trem-setter like? can you do vibrato with it
spaterman 3 years ago
thanks! The trem-setter is really nice, makes the bridge act more like a stop-tail, so tuning is much easier and bends don't make bass notes go out of tune. You can still do vibrato, but the feel is definitely much more stiff. Still able to dive bomb tho
