Here is the rest of the song, Roll Away the Stone. Sorry! my daughter didn't realize i wanted her to record the whole thing and i don't know how to merge the two videos. Here are the words to the whole song by Tom Conry:

Roll Away The Stone - Tom Conry

They have been saying all our plans are empty. They have been saying Where is their God now?

Roll away the stone, see the Glory of God. Roll away the stone

They have been saying no one will remember. They have been saying Power rules the world.

Roll away the stone, see the Glory of God. Roll away the stone

They have been saying no one hears the singing. They have been saying all our strength is gone.

Roll away the stone, see the Glory of God. Roll away the stone

They have been saying All of us are dying. They have been saying All of us are dead.

Roll away the stone, see the Glory of God. Roll away the stone

  • I love this song! it's my favorite song sung in my parish!

  • What Parish is this? I am so certain the guitarist played on my first ACTS Retreat. Is this is San Antonio?

  • Your version might be the best on the internet!!!

  • I love this song! We sing this at our church. Good job!

  • Awesome song! ! !

  • Thankyou, it is good for something Godly, to be on youtube! keep up the great work in supporting the truth of the faith!

  • Nicely done. I prefer to give it a more 2/2 feel rather than 4/4, which would mostly involve just getting the drums (machine) to change the beat around a little. I think when he switched to tympani at the end it worked better for me. And with all those wonderful voices you have, I would let that last Dsus4 chord just ring out after the instruments hit it. If you want to hear what I'm talking about, check out the live recording by "Chris Brunelle" on itunes. God bless you all in your ministry.

  • Thank you...we did this song at our Resurrection Sunday Cantata, years ago...haven't heard it since then.
