One of two LARGE and impressive B-17s at SEFF 2011, plus a huge flying wing that drops 3 smaller wings. These were some of the first things we saw after our arrival Thursday morning.
Yeah I realized that about 10 minutes after I shot the video. And ya did a great job flying her. What happened to it on Friday though? Looked like wind shear hit it low to the ground. Saturday was a total "no fly" day for our planes. :(
@cdg454 LOL I now realize why I made that "control" comment. Were you there last year when that guy augered that super huge flying wing? I had a quick flashback of running for cover! LMAO! Do you have your wing on an RC Groups thread? I'd love to see better pics of the release mechanisms. That's an AWESOME wing ya got there!
@drum1805 You are thinking of Laine's wing. I wasn't there for that one, but I saw the video afterward. Build thread for this thing is under electric airplanes->flying wings->14 foot flying wing
