Proud of my Scottish heritage.

This takes me back to when my father was the band director,my brother was a /drum Major, sister danced and played the pipes and other brother played the baratone. I've been bragging about this band for the past 40 years. Never take for granted what you have in Dunedin.
-
American's are fairly dreadful at pipes. The only country that can play them quite well are the Canadian's.
Scotland, can't beat us :)
-
oh and the city actually has a middle school pipe band as well, there are only 3 in the country!
-
they have seperate chanters that are played with band, i think they are actually meant to be sharp...
-
i know im gonna sound harsh but the chanter sound is horrible, especaily on top hand, way too sharp. finger technique is good though :) would be better with better set chanters and steadier blowing. btw i never actually new untill now there was actually an american high school pipe band :) you've just made my week lol in a good way.
