@nebojsha78 The song doesn't endorse,nor promote drug use.Your confusion Lou Reed denies endorsing drugs;in fact,quite the opposite.The lyrics,such as they are on the majority of the rest of the album,were more meant 2 focus on providing an objective description of the topic w/out taking a moral stance.Some fans,as well,misunderstanding the song would approach the band after a concert telling them they had 'shot up heroin',a phenomenon that deeply disturbed Lou.

I get that you love the whole factory scene, but c'mon dont make degrading videos of yourselfs.
