I love the pacing on this, it's great. Quick, but not so much that I struggled to keep track.
I do have a question, though. Did you use any sort of rigs here, or are the models weighted so they can stand on one leg (For animating the walking and so forth)? Being spheres, it looks like the tiny legs would break under the weight of the bodies.
Nonetheless, this is excellent.

I think im' missing something here about stale bread, and overcomplification!!! its completely irrelevant whether the bread was stale or not at the end and if you are still able to make a sandwich out of it!! the video is brilliant, great concept and well excecuted and i thoroughly enjoyed the bread part because i was looking at the animation rather than how best to eat it afterwards! And of course the stop motion was necessary to make a film like this, labour intensive but well worth the wait

It didn't even take me 10 minutes to animate the bread and it tasted very nice by the time I was done with it.
Besides, when I use the word "overcomplicating" I am refering to the use of labour intensive techniques used to create something that would be easier to do otherwise like pixelation. These caracters don't move by themselves you know. I command them every day and every night but they won't still won't budge. See, this kind of animation is used because it is necessary.
