Born half a world apart, it was the opera that brought singers William Ferguson and Kim Smith together on Swanston St. in Melbourne, Australia. Two weeks later, they knew they had something special.

  • these are stories that make the world worthwhile

  • I really enjoy the fact that complete strangers feel they have a right to dismiss the lives of these two men so readily (and therefore dismiss whatever struggle or difficulty they may have had) simply because they are white and purchased something from Tiffanys.

If you take issue with the media only portraying a certain 'type', then make that comment. But be a bigger person and do it without being disrespectful and presumptuous about William and Kim. It's not their fault they fell in love.

  • @diegosemerene stop projecting, that is clearly what you think, you need to deal with your issues, there are other videos with gays here that aren't white, so get off your pedastal and stop acting like a whiny bitch.

  • @diegosemerene someone is clearly jealous.

  • How nice!

  • I love you Kim and I love you William and I love this video! Warmest wishes and hearty congratulations! I am smiling from ear to ear and SO happy for you!

  • Oh my God they are so freaking CUTE.

  • @NE0NBL00D They still aren't eligible for immigration under federal law.

  • @jlenoconel new york doesn't have gay marriage, but they recognize marriages/unions that were legally sanctioned in other states or countries. they're might just be having a civil ceremony with no real legality. it's sad but true. my home state, louisiana, and the state i live in, texas have full bans. i wonder maybe if they got married in vermont or massachusetts or somewhere else where it's legal. their love is obviously very real regardless.

  • Kim's eyes are emerald. I am awed by them.

My deepest, most sincerest congratulations; a truly beautiful and inspiring story.
