Facebook F8 Conference

Gartner analyst Ray Valdes discusses Facebook's F8 developer conference with eWEEK. The one-day event included the formal unveiling of Facebook Connect, the company's external social service, as well as the international expansion of its developer site and some new developer programs. The event disappointed some attendees, who expected the company to launch a payment processing service.
