Squirrels In My Garden - Squirrel Juvenile,Adult Squirrel & A Great Spotted Woodpecker

Squirrel Juvenile,Adult & a Woody

I filmed this lovely Squirrel Juvenile sometime in the first week of Nov.Suddenly I spotted a strange looking creature rather terrified for some time in my garden Apple Tree. When I checked more I found that it was only a small juvenile Squirrel.
Since he was small you can see that he crept through the feeder cage. His first entry into the bird feeder cage is at 38sec. After his first creep it has been a paradise for him..
When he enters the feeder he stays inside it for over an hour. He does this about 5-6 times a day.Sometimes he just relaxes in the feeder base and maybe he has overeaten and feels sleepy.It was so fun to watch.

Watch carefully for a moment from 1.37, suddenly a great spotted woodpecker comes to the feeder and vanishes quickly. I suppose the place is too crowded and doesnt like too much company. The adult squirrel also knows about the sudden visit of the Woodpecker and leaves the feeder and goes to the top branch.He comes back again once the woodpecker disappears.
If you analyse it well, I feel that it is a suttle moment in their behavour, that you have seen....
Now he is a young looking healthy Squirrel and I can spot him very well..Stil he visits me :)

Ahh new friends :-) They are cute, especially the juvenile Squirrel. He is learning all the sneaky habits from the adult LOL!

@MoviesMusicNature Yes Chris,Well said..That was so cute the way you have described it :)) This juvenile now a young one still always goes round the cage just like when he was small..Today I saw three of them going races rounds & rounds in the garden.That was a lovely scene to watch.
