@jackscatz Their real last name was Horwitz. Moe Howard (Moses Harry Horwitz) born 6/19/1897, Shemp Howard (Samuel Horwitz) born 3/4/1895, and Curly Howard (Jerome Lester "Jerry" Horwitz) born 10/22/1903. And, Larry Fine (Louis Feinberg) born 10/5/1902, was not their brother.

Some trivia for some of you stooge fans out there.

1. This was the last Stooge short Del Lord directed and was also the only Shemp short that he worked on.

2. Cy Schindell, who played Officer Jackson, was suffering from terminal cancer at the time which he caught while he was serving in the Marines during World War 2.
