Pyramid Cave Mission 1 in 1:35 (EX-WR)

This is my best time for the level, using the new door skipping trick!

Max time is somewhere between 1:25-1:28.

I'd like to thank werey for finding a way to glitch through the key door which has so far saved 17 seconds on this mission. I'd also like to thank Werey, as well as FinalRush7 and Brian pso for their supportive encouragement.

How do you do that move at 0:16 and 0:21? I could never figure it out. Also, when I tried that door trick at 0:45 it didn't work.

At 16 I am simply charging a spindash and jumping into the hourglass; the momentum from the spindash and the bounce from hitting the hourglass send you up in the air.

21 is similar, I'm charging a spindash for momentum, and then as soon as I let it go I jump and quickly hit the b button for the bounce ball; using the spindash's momentum being and bouncing next to any kind of wall sends you skyhigh! takes practice to master though

45 takes a perfect jump at the very edge of the door

that part is pretty nice, I was proud to be able to pull that in a check-free run. It's way too easy to mess it up, if you don't hit the ramp right you're screwed, if you don't jump immediately you'll spindash right off the ledge, and there's an invisible wall to mess you up too if you try to make a a straight angled jump, thus why I go so wide on the jump.

you're the TAS man so, it's ok if you don't have a really fast time. you haven't practiced much for that probably. :P
