I wouldn't consider Peter Godwin to be Italo disco either. Altough this song does have an Italo feel to it, in my opinion his other songs like Images of Heaven and Torchsong for the Heroine ensure he's New Wave.

Sweet, sincere, and simple. AHHH... The "pop love" atmosphere of the 80's was a better time for us "hopeless romantics". Many thanks for posting this musical blast from my misspent past.
