  • I see people posting things like: "Devo all got fat". My response to that is: they're not fat they're older. For christ's sake Mark is 61, and considering the fact that he can still rock, earns him the right for a little chub, and let's not forget Jerry's the oldest at 63! LET THEM EAT THEIR DONUTS!!!! It ain't easy to stay "thin" at that age, and considering all the cardio they still get on stage, they're probably going to be doing this for years to come.

  • two words: Bob1 is Epic!!!

  • Look like it's sound like a great outragous supervillians theme song! Look like some outragous bank robbers dress as Megavolt from Darwing Duck and Don Karnage and his crew of air pirates from Talespin. Pilling bank in Belgium. Before the Road Rovers fight them off.

  • This band is absolutely incredible. There will honestly never be another one like them again.

  • @thutton67 I read the play by Peter Shaffer many years ago, in college. For those who aren't familiar with it, it is a purely fictional work based on an actual crime whereby a 17-year-old boy blinded 6 horses with a pitchfork in a small town near London. The movie adaptation starred Richard Burton and is also excellent, as is the soundtrack. I actually sampled one of the monologues from the soundtrack in a spoken word piece that I created many years ago, but that's another story LOL.

  • wuuuuuuuuu

  • 1:32 his guitar got so exited it cummed on itself

  • They are fantastic!! I remember have this casette and listening to it enroute to the ski resort to go mogul skiing. Such a mogul manic band!! Yheaaaa!!!

  • Great ! Thanks for posting. Really takes me back.

  • jerry was already 30 by this point, that's nuts! and extremely encouraging to me, being 23 and having never been in a band cos i've had nothing to offer

  • what a brilliant guitar solo !! the balls on them! they really hated rock and it shows ... how can you not love them to death!!?!

  • all these are so much better than the 1980 live tour dvd release, biting, raw, much more energetic and with much dirtier synths; and of course better songs

  • @brookeraasch You should read the play "Equus" if u want disturbing. There was some controversy when Daniel what's-his-name did the play in London and dropped trou

  • I have to ask the obvious question: why hasn't this been released on DVD yet?

Also, there's something about Mark Mothersbaugh's manic recital of the old Burger King jingle that is vaguely reminiscent of the boy in Equus, who nervously and repeatedly recites the old Doublemint Gum jingle to his shrink (Richard Burton). Disturbing film. I made the mistake of watching it alone on late night cable TV when I was 12. Explains a lot! LOL

  • Soooo gnarly.

  • idk hes a walking doughnut nowdays

  • LOL! I would kill to have been there... GREAT show! At their most rad...

  • It's been 31 years... what do you expect?

  • Wireless in '78 !

  • wow!!!!

  • 2:12 ...THINK I GOT A BIG MAC ATTACK !

  • WOW! Look at Mark in this vid, then look him up in Devo: Jocko Homo posted by brian9999. A LOT of weight gained!!!! :(
