PowerBook G4 Titanium 800mhz Review

Hey everyone! Here's just a quick overview/review of my PowerBook G4 Titanium ("TiBook")

It's a great little Mac that has become what was my main PORTABLE, my now main... Well everything! I Photoshop, edit my videos, and do everything on it now. I highly recommend one of these to anybody in the market for a G4 Mac.

800 MHz PowerPC G4 Processor
1 GB SDRAM
40 GB ATA IDE Hard Drive
Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard
Airport (Original, 802.11b)
...A GORGEOUS keyboard :)

And a whole load of handy software.

Hi is this the bookepro that has led light on the keybord?.. And if not witch one is older this one or the one that haves led light on the keybord cause there both call apple bookepro g4?

@Isac8310 Hey dude, there were never 'PowerBook G4 Pros'' although I think the ones you are thinking about with the backlit keyboard are the 15" & 17" aluminum PowerBook G4's. This one in the video is a Titanium (the previous model) so no, this one doesn't have the backlit keyboard. Thanks for watching man! :)

@iphone3gtutsntweaks Oh cool thank you yeah i just got mine of ebay the same one u have its such a beautiful laptop, but when i watch youtube on it suck's, i have to play the video on 240p i was hoping at least 360p do you know how i can fix that? and one more question how do you download all those apps like the one you have like "imovie"? thank you for taking your time to reply regards isaias l :)

@Isac8310 I use MacTubes to watch YouTube videos on my PowerBook primarily. It's an awsome program that allows you to play YouTube in Quicktime player (as oppose to flash, which is why YouTube sucks on PowerBook's, and basically every PowerPC Mac out there...) And as to ''iMovie'' and where to download it... I have legal copy but you can try out ThePirateBay, you can download just about anything there, but you need a torrent client, I use Vuze. Whats the maximum hdd capacity if i got one and wanted to upgrade the hard drive?

@StreetChildVEVO Hey man, these take the ATA hard drives, not the newer SATA ones, just a heads up incase you go out and buy the wrong type. :) Anyway you can put any size hard drive in here BUT, they don't support partitions over 128gb, so you could just get a 120gb if that's enough, I'll probably do that when I upgrade my hard drive, but you could say buy a 320gb Hard Drive, in this case, you'd have to partition it in 3.

i have the same powerbook g4 titanium but it is not that good in some ways like playing youtube videos. get the powerbook g4 15" thats what iv got now it is much quicker with

1.5 GHz

2 GB Ram

150 Gb Hard Drive Backlight Keyboard

and you can use iMovie 08, 09 on it

to get imovie 08, 09 you will need at least 1 GHz prossesor

and compatable CORE IMAGE

CORE IMAGE is something to do with the graphics power

i had 1 with the same specs as yours but the hing went out one day. after that i sold it. i did many things on it too, including video editing using windows 7 starter on virtual pc. it worked great.

@NicksLocker i know exactly how you mean that i would die for a macbook pro or something but im 14 to and can only go for a used powerbook or old macbook... why does apple have to be so exspencive!:(
