  • good work . Is this a seven plate cell or seven cells ? I see one large dry cell

  • it has 6 nut. plates so that makes it seven cells

  • Real nice setup, I think you your fill time maybe in-fact be less when considering the pressure to push out the water from the bottle, plus atmospheric pressure.

    cheers.

  • Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what you are saying, please explain.

The hho has to go thou both bubbliers and then to the lpm test bottle.

  • Sorry I'm talking about the time taken for the bottle to rise, if it wasn't for drag and atmospheric pressure on the bottle the bottle would rise quicker than 20 seconds. if you try and pull that bottle out of the water with your hand you'll see what I'm saying the faster you pull the more drag. I'm not sure what the drag time would be, but it could be up-to 3 seconds. making your time 17 seconds not 20.

Trying to push water out a bottle there's pressure, that would not normally be there

  • I have a 1/4"in. bled hole for the visual aid so we can tell when it is empty. the two points at the bottle to keep it strait and are 7/16"in.holes. the bottle has 3/8' holes ride in.s.s. tubing floats on them guild points and the water comes out the 3;8". I think this is what your talking about but if not please let me know. thanks

  • That looks like a very nice test rig showing a good output. I wonder what application you are intending to put it to ?

  • @altgenesis123 this is two years old now so ya must have foud a more efficient way by now ?

  • @uawwildbob Not good. Power used is 22.9*14.3/1.5= 218 Watts/litre/minute. The norm is 150W/L/M.

  • 1.46 volts per electrode gap is effecient electrolysis, if you have 7 plate you should technically be running 10.2 volts at 1 to ? amps.. ps.. 120 degrees is boiling water, cut down the voltage so you not making steam :-\ because not all that "cloud" your getting is hho, its steam... you cant boil the water, just under the boiing point is the sweet spot.

  • @rainmaker0909 hi there.. I also have the 7cell konfig. 2 in series whit minus in the middle but its a wetcell. Have 13,8volt from my alternator / 7 = 1,97volt And gaps bewind the cells 1,8-2mm but have very low production 6-700cc lpm @ 18-20amp,

What gaps du you use? whould i go whit narrowing gaps maby 1mm ??

  • hey im thinking about making a small cell im using a peanut butter jar *plastic and im using the lids of of steel cans as my plates i got a car battery charger and im spacing every thing about an 8th of an inch apart im using fish tubing for al my tubes like the stuff for aquariums and i was also thinking about using the little blue water arrestors as a flashback arrestor its got 28 plates total and they are round does this sound like a good cell?

  • Looks like a good system for a car. ~2LPH is a good number... looks like some awesome GPH gains on your vehicle. Give us some test numbers if you get it in a vehicle.

  • cool set up guy ! cant wait to check ya mileage tests!what motor is it going on ?nice system !its motivated me to put a dry cell together instead of me bricks in a bath. cheers.
