This is one of those hauntingly beautiful songs that seems so ahead of its own time and so individual as a standalone piece. To make matters more unique, this was written by arguably the ultimate proto-hippie Eden Ahbez (the hippie of the 1940's!)

this is a very sad song it's about being loved and loving in return .
