Yes you are right about central planning, its sucks, im glad we sent comunist where they belong to 18years ago. But Tatra was only for goverment and big red heads. He was maybe allowed to wait for some 4cylinder Skoda or so. This movie was taken in time when in Czechoslovakia was in mood for some changes, i guess thats why its so optimistic, but then in 1968 came Russian army to stop that.

@nenno31 Ono zase ruku na srdce... Tatru nesrazili na kolena komunisté, ale stalo se to až za této demokratické vlády. Byl jsem v Kopřivnici v tatrovce a teď tím nemyslím muzeum, a bylo smutný, že kdysi tak silná automobilka měla na lince, slovy "ČTYŘI" nákladní tatry. Pán co tam s námi byl mi ukazoval letecký snímek z roku 1985 a Tatrovky na vývoz stály úplně všude.

Rád bych viděl současné limuzíny (Audi, BMW, Mercedes), kdyby toto měli natočit jako "remake"... to by asi moc dobře nepochodily...

Liebe Tschechen , warum habt Ihr uns (Westdeutschen) diese schönen Autos vorenthalten und uns blos billige Skodas verkauft ? Der T603 hätte sich hier bestimmt auch gut verkaufen lassen . Gehört zusammen mit T77 ,T87 ,Citroen DS ,CX undGSA zu den schönsten Autos der Welt .

That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Love the propaganda bits with the police commander shaking the dudes hand. In reality they'd all be lined up and shot without a trial, then the 603 would be used as a police vehicle.
