Potrero Del Sol Skatepark San Francisco Grand Opening, June 28, 2008. After years of hard work and dedication by many, San Francisco's new skatepark opened with much fanfare. Mayor Gavin Newsom, along with hundreds of motivated skaters and spectators were present.

It's great that those of us who have lived here for more than 22+ years finally have a place to go in the neighborhood, but it's equally great to see some quality skaters from out of the area coming to show their stuff. Freedom to skate when, where, and with whom you please.

@tiaputadobatiman actoualy rollerskates were before skateboards and this is the only park who hassels rollerbladers and its ok no body wants to skate with a buncha hood niggaz anyway. It's ony the shitty skateboarders who hate inliners. Anyone with talent has respect. Make fun of the little scotter kids if you wana fell better about yourself.
