@ScoKimber When i put my hand in a hole in a bank i feel the bottom of the hole and if it is smooth there's a catfish in the hole, If not smooth i leave it alone.

@MLBRENIZER Yes they can some people put there arm in there mouth and out there gills, The white spikes in there gills are sharp.

I don't see how you guys avoid snapping turtles. I catch 30-40lb snapping turtles in the same ponds around here that I fish for bass and catfish. Nice fish you have there, congrats.
