  • If ever there was a man to celebrate the dreams that so many of us carry of the calm and tranquility of the islands-it;s Jimmy Buffett. I will raise in a toast to your honor at Ziggys the next time I am in Montserrat and bless you for all you have given mankind in song, spirit, and most of all, heart felt happiness. You are a true prophet of what life can be.

  • I love the fact that my kids love Jimmy Buffett. We blast it on the boat and they sing every word. Don't see that happening with today's artist.

  • Love that Island Happy : )

  • @cptmrgn318 No idea, weird.

  • @mspugsy I always thought it went 'not enough dope for a salt to get high' doh!

  • I have found a cure for stress...Thanks Mr. Buffett

  • No offense really intended to Jimmy or fans, I just can't help but appreciate the absurd.

  • @yourdickis2limp the surreality of this image makes it wonderful. I imagine Jimmy calling fans up on stage, and he has this high toilet seat with bamboo stilts held up by hula dancers. He climbs up and the fan stands underneath him with his mouth open and Jimmy smiles in his amiable way, holding his guitar, as the fan scrambles to catch the falling dung and the crowd cheers in a very positive, wholesome way. Once Jimmy is finished, the fan leaves the stage, sheepish but satisfied.

  • Any one there in Altamonte Springs Jai Lai theatre in 1977. When we were young.

  • @cptmrgn318 Hmm, yeah that kinda ruined it.
