  • Def. 4b/c!!! You're not a 3 at all! PLUS, your hair is wet which is like cheating...it has to be dry to determine!

  • @realitycheckdiva What are you talking about? You hair has to be wet and coated with conditioner.

  • @MsRitaBoop its supposed 2 have conditioner in it??

  • @realitycheckdiva ok i've always heard ur hair had to be wet to determine it's type but i may make anotha vid w/ dry hair but my hair basically dries the same way it looks wet unless i messed w/ it 2 much n made it frizz

  • You got a mix of 4b/a. You have mostly 4b hair with springy 4a hair. I likey!!

  • @urgunnaluvmeh Thankz!!

  • ITS LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE 3C HAIR OOPS SRY IN CAPS

  • @realitycheckdiva, that's correct ... in order to figure out what type of hair it is, the hair should be dry and in its natural state (minus braids, twists and other contrivances). It should not be wet, greased down or laden with products. Based on your wet hair, I'd have to agree you are ikely a 4b or 4c.

  • Looks like 4b/c yay. I love it :). Best hair for twists and twists outs. When they get old they look like dreads. It's great :). I would say do it after you wash and let it dry without products in it. Also without conditioner because conditioner weighs your hair down and pulls it, stretching the coils. I have done that and it looked like I was 4a lol. But I know I am not that.

  • @sinceremami That's what I have always read.

  • It would help to see your hair totally dry because the hair typing system was meant to measure dry - not wet - hair. Because it is wet in many of these pics I'm guessing your hair is really a 4c, possibly w/4b mixed in. There's no way your hair falls into any of the "3" category though. You are definitely a 4 type.
