@pastorgeorgem Yeah that's understandable, but I feel like he still should've pulled the drunk over earlier because that guy was capable of doing anything. What if he stepped on it and slammed right into the back of the semi? Or he could've completely taken that guy out in the left lane. The safety of the drunk and any other drivers should take priority over police protocol.

@TheJohnnysplits you forgot too mention they have to observe in most states a continuous follow sometimes its a mile and sometimes its a quarter of a mile and with dash cam evidence it is an airtight case that this was a clean arrest for DWI don't whine that the cop is at fault for distracting the driver

My guess, drunky looks in the rear view mirror and sees lights go on behind him and doesn't pay attention that he is heading right toward the back of a semi. So it's like, "Aww craaaaaaa-BAM!"

I'm a trucker and I'm sorry I think that's funny. Not that he's drunk, but just the way he popped into the side of the trailer. Better that than taking out some other innocent motorist. And the truck driver has an amusing story to tell.
