Study Proves Liberals Are Smarter Than Conservatives

If youve seen any of the protest signs being carried around at Tea Party rallies across the country it becomes painfully obvious that this isnt the brightest group of people. From their Keep the Government out of my medicare signs to the ones claiming that Obama is a radical Muslim immigrant, the GOP and their followers have become one of the most brain dead groups in the country. And this isnt speculation a new study actually shows that liberals tend to have higher IQs than conservatives, and Mike Papantonio recently spoke to Raw Story political correspondent Sahil Kapur, to shed some light onto why liberals are smarter.

Over-reaching generalizations of demographic groups is more the par of ignorant bigotry than science. Tea Party does not equal social conservatives and the Republican Party. Restrictions on the powers of governments does not equal stupidity. As a scientist, by contrast, I doubt these fools could even estimate the KJ output of our solar sun let alone the standard deviations.

@visini14 FDR simply continued the policies of Herbert Hoover and Herbert Hoover also created social programs which caused the economic crisis! When FDR just continued his policies he made the Depression even longer and things would have been MUCH better MUCH faster if government hadn't done anything! Just look at the 1920 economic crash you moron! Please I'm begging you.

@visini14 That's just a straight up lie. Uneployment fell by 2% before government interfered and then it rose drastically after all those government reforms and continued to rose! We can argue over this all day but in the end I'm the one writing actual facts while you are making up numbers!

FDR didn't stabilize anything he made the Depression much worse than it should have been. If you disagree then please explain the 1920 economic crash.

@visini14 Yes I know a lot about the Great Depression a lot more than you do! Maybe that's why I'm actually bringing up facts and you're not but just continueing the talking points you heard when you watched CNN.

The Great Depression was about to fadeaway and uneployment was falling drastically until government interfered with their new reforms and regulations. After that uneployment rose to double digits and it took an entire decade to lower them!

And People knew that he was doing good. They knew that he was going to be good when he shut down the banks, Bank holiday. Then with the Glass-Steagall act kelp the banks from exploding. @antonio3p1 YOu don't know anything. When the government stepped in, it was in 1933 when FDR got into office. When he got into office, the Unemployment rate was in the 20%s. In 1934 was when FDR's social programs took effect, and GDP grew and Unemployment started to go down. That is a fact, and the fact that you are denying it is sad. You are the fucking stupid one, when you don't even know this common fact.

@antonio3p1 Because of FDR's social programs to get people back to work, and the bank regulations. This is a fact. How can you say that government involvement caused the depression to get worse, when GDP grew and unemployment went down when Government got involved.
