Chaotic Maul Max Hits | Stats | Information | Runescape | Ft. Castle Wars |

Warning: This guide is only useful as of now, the item may be changed in the future by jagex. I may or may not update it fully. I believe it is the first guide on chaotic mauls.

Castle Wars used cwars bracelet, extreme pots/Overloads turmoil and berserker ring I were used (+8 str bonus). Only thing lacking was 3 strength bonus (vesta top and chain)

The highest max should a few damages higher (840-850) most likely because vesta chain and statius legs werent used (+3 strength bonus)

The max in PVP should be around 650 with full statius.

Dungeoneering Reward: Chaotic Maul

The Chaotic Maul is currently a rare melee weapon only a couple of people in the game have due to the skill requirements and the sheer amount of time it takes for the price.

It is obtained through 80 Dungeoneering (New Runescape Skill) and buying it off the NPC for 200K tokens. You can not buy any other items along the way to have 200k Tokens at 80. IT ALSO REQUIRES 80 ATTACK.

As of its release it is currently the strongest weapon in the game. + 167 Crush -4 Stab -4 Slash - 155 Strength - beating the Godsword strength bonus by 23.

It CAN be used in PVP and has an Alch value of 130k.

It has no special attack and it is slower than the Godsword.

Price/Degrading Process: The Chaotic Maul is bought for 200,000 Dungeoneering tokens and starts with a 20% charge. A fully charged maul lasts for 10 hours, and once reached 0%, must be taken back to Daemonheim to be recharged (in a similar fashion to how Fist of Guthix rewards work). Alternatively, players can pay 2 million coins to have the maul recharged, or trading a combination of tokens and 200,000 coins.

Because of the massive crush this item would be effective at Kalphite queens or Bandos. However it does not have any other stats than crush (-4) and because of its speed training would not be as effective. This would moreso be used for pking and hits and fun player vs player such as castle wars / fight pits, etc. The Chaotic Longsword would be the better pick overall for durability, pking, monster hunting, and shield use along with it (1 handed).
