@nzmedic Labour totally ruined UK there are still fine pockets in the country.But most people have to endure with multi-culture violence PC & taxes that rob you to death. I also had to leave my own country it was simply to dangerous and I wanted my children to marry somebody with similar heritage one of those cultural-less so they say white northern Europeans! I'm Not into Islam and were suppose to live in a Christian country! Funny enough my last visit to NZ found it more English than England!

I am with jerzy! Yes yes... they don't make Basil like they used to. His 'essence' has gone i'm afraid. The new Basil is just ... as you put it "a shoddy imitation". lol

@fs1natra yes I have heard that the UK is not a very nice place to live now, may explain why so many are leaving and coming here to NZ!! Sad really, I always thought of it as a nice part of the world.

dont forget to mention the delights of bullying, dog fouling, 3 times as many cars as kids in uk, park play areas covered in glass "no ball games".also a fact that if you live in a grotty area you would not want to walk around it

Yup. I'm tired of telling people that the "Basil Brush" character on TV a few years ago is NOT the real Basil — just a shoddy imitation. Some people can't seem to tell the difference! The REAL Basil, as we know, bowed out in 1994 with his right-hand man, Ivan Owen.
