it is probably a fat32 filesystem instead of NTFS which means it doesnt support files over 4GB

Thats why ppl backup there files 1 more hard drives and couple dvds

-Intermittently.
-Does not wants to shut off.
-Required "Safely Remove Hardware" or you may lost all data!
-Windows ask you for reformat!
-Recovery Stores promoted by WD in their web page, wants from $1000 to $2200 to recover your data.
-After traumatic hours trying to recover years of data, I lost everything.
- Alternatively, dissemble the junk, connect to your PC via SATA cable and you can see all your lost files there...and internally install the drive.
