whats up with lord of the rings people being in oliver twist....first frodo in the 1997 one, now gollum as bill sykes, whats next gandalf as fagin hahahaaa

it`d be nice to see a hard hitting version of this film,where they are all running around shooting and robbing people instead of the nicey-nicey stuff...........then again they would have to make fagin sum sort of paedo,anyone living with a squad full of young boys would need checking out.

@implifcations It all depends on the mood. The first time I watched this, I was completely enthralled. I loved it so much (I still do feel very sentimental about it). But ever since, I've had to skip parts whenever I watch, because I find them too boring to watch again - although it does depend on my mood.

A bit slow moving and ponderous. The book moves along faster beause of Dicken's entertaining and witty writing style. But the screenplay, by necessity leaving out the narration, misses all the pith and just drags on. Maybe it was just my mood when I was watching this. What do others think?

This is the most tedious version I have ever seen. I wonder how many viewers actually make it to end. Nevertheless, thanks for uploading it. I did want to check it out.
