Some bits of footage I shot using the Canon Ixus 220, walking around the bombed out town of Belchite in Aragon, Spain. Its an amazing place. It was used as a film location in Pans Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno) and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
The old village was ruined by the intense fighting between the Nationalist (Facist) and Republican (Communist) forces in the last week of August and 1st week of September 1937 (24/08 - 7/09).
