I used to be in this unit before I went active duty which was before this video, thew last time i was with these guys was in 2003 after the unit was at benning and stewart for a year

So since they are now an Infantry unit are the M1s being replaced with bradleys or strykers and just using the 19k's as bradley crewman? I gues what im getting at is what have they changed by converting to Inf from Armor

Just an FYI - this battalion has now been converted from armor to infantry and is now the 4-118 IN BN in the SCARNG.

I think this unit has been renamed 1st Battalion 263rd Cavalry because my dad is in the South Carolina NG with the 163rd support battalion.

That may well be. But at the time they were 1-263 Armor.

This battalions was recently redesignated as 4-118 IN, as a part of a larger reorganization with the SC ARNG.
