again Haken looks like Hamel from manga name Violinist of Hameroon.
-
Yeah but the robots are not the main characters, heck it doesn't even have the same gameplay. Of course fanservice isn't what makes it great but it's a great bonus many players will like.
-
Tjem ypu are way wrong for this game, this game have robots from SRW, and the "sex" you're saying is really not what make this game great.
-
Errr....I have my doubts on this game. They should not have labeled it as SRW since there are no robots in it or at least it's not the core feature. SRW is not SRW without the "R".
That said I may give this a shot. As for the fanservice, I don't mind. Sex sells, that's a fact.

nope.
The dialog and text is english but the voices for combat are japanse.
and the skull man is not related to Garland in the least.
Im not sure if his japanese name is Kenji but it isent in english.
He is however, overpowered
-
I would think they would do english voices. Since I don't think they would leave the Japanese in. THey might leave the san or chan in since Atlus did that with Persona 3 FES.
-
He's an interdimensional bounty hunter with a cyborg sidekick and a miniature Gespenst at his disposal. (There's one other thing, but I'm not sure if it's a spoiler or not.) He could have the lamest personality of all time and he'd STILL be badass. That said, I think he's one of those guys that realizes how badass he is and goes with it just because it's so damn fun.
-
Hmm... That skull guy towards the end sounds familiar. I believe I've heard him as Garland in the traillers for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Since this game isn't up on IMBD, can someone confirm whether or not he's this "Kenji Utsumi" fellow?
On a somewhat related note, does anyone know if Atlus plans on redoing the voiceovers in English or leaving the Japanese? Please just respond with what you know, not what you'd prefer, because I don't feel like seeing another Language War.

Think of it this way. A company who has the experience of writing professional-quality fanfics of virtually every giant robot anime in existence over 20+ games decides to make their own characters and mecha, taking the best of everything they've learned and putting it in a package that can potentially be released in America. How is that NOT a good idea?
-
atlus had a press release today saying that this game will be on sale in north america by april 28 2009 game will come with the ost for $35 atlus rocks
