I was tired of wistful poetic recitations that torture students when the Canterbury Tales were written to be entertaining. So I "rediscovered" the rhythm of Chaucer's work and recorded it with some help from Garageband to update the presentation. I found conflicting wording, spelling, and guides to pronunciation, which is one reason my Middle English might not be what you're used to hearing and why the recording doesn't always match the slides. Still, it was a fun project.
