When the Americans considered Bobby a criminal, only the Polgars visited all the way from Hungary to Yugoslavia, during cold war end tensions, and took him back, showed him places to stay and gave him food.

The Polgar Family was Jewish and mostly female.

yeah,
i think fischer let a lot of american kids down after '72; he got a lot of patronage during his rise to the top, and even in rekjavik, it was not a one man show.
