  • How much $ would you estimate you have spent on you collection?. Guns, munitions, cleaning tools and all?

  • @MrDeano324 More than I would like to think about thats for sure ;)

  • Murph..You planning on showing a forming and reloading vid for this Martini..or did I miss it ??

  • @craftymaggot Its in progress and should be up by the end of the week. I have the opportunity to buy a French Needle Gun. What do you think?

  • Thanks for another interesting video. I wonder, if you were a foot soldier behind a mealie bag at Rorke´s Drift awaitng the next Zulu charge, which one of the following black powder single shots would you choose: a. Snider, b. Martini Henry, c Trap door Springfield, d. Remington Rolling Block ? Thanks.

  • @carlos45703030 I would choose the Martini Henry. Its ejection is lever-operated and completely expels the spent case. Its much easier and faster to reload. On top of that, it's shooting a 577Snider case necked down to .45 = more power lol

  • @TheGuyWithAWeirdName call of duty zulu war's lol id play it

  • @MrDeano324 i can tell you that i have over $2000 in my martinis and reloading gear for them its addicting

  • @murpheysmuskets remember that at rorke's drift thay had the rolled foil cases and thay had lots of jaming and this was all with the short lever martini henry but thay did have well over 20000 round at rorkes drift and thay only had about 900 left lol not a vary good hit rate

  • Why don't they make video games with these guns? weve seen all that call of duty has to offer i would sure play those!

  • @murpheysmuskets

Haha, im sure. But you're a lucky guy. Not many people get the privilege of owning a fantastic collection like yours. Personally, I would give anything just to own one. The Long land pattern, and New land patern Brown Bess are my favorites. But I live in GB. And its against the law without getting a license. Which in a nation that is very hot on gun crime and owning guns, is easier said than done. I guess your vids will have to feed my enthusiasm for now. Ha.

  • Dude you should do a range vid of your swiss rifles, namely the RSI scoped one.

  • Awesome, I'm glad the bullets worked out well for ya!

I have seen fabricated cartridges for the needle gun which used #10 or 11 percussion caps and a suitably close dimensional cartridge type. There was info on the web on loading. Interesting smoke poles they are. Prices sway wildly for these antiques.
