  • A masterpiece of classical film-making. Kudos for the upload!

  • Not true to the actual legend, but an impressive silent film none the less. It is unimaginable the great Rabbi would resort to dark powers. The clay body was animated to life when the Rabbi wrote the word "Emes" (truth) on it's forehead. It was made lifeless when the first letter was erased, leaving the word "mes" (death)

  • Yeah the sets are great on this film BUT I like the sets for Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu better

  • This movie.

    Has the best.

    Sets.

    EVER.

  • this film is a masterpiece! you dont need a million dollars worth of cgi to make a great film.

  • Thank you very much for uploading this.

I love German Expressionism but was unable to find a torrent for this.
