The count glitch for * Search netnewyork currents 12/18/09 on youtube* (6min33sec into broadcast) seems to have been cleared up! Thanks to all who corrected it.
Tomorrow is a VERY big day on the homily line (718-768-2560). Fasten your seatbelts..Gertrude and Cindy definitely wont like this one!
God Bless you, Fr. Murphy. Your message today (from St. John) is freeing. Its not about us loving God, the wonder is that God loves us FIRST!
Peace and all good to EVERYONE ~ joanmoore

It seems the view count problem for the NET 12/18 story might be a NET or youtube glitch. Search netnewyork currents 12/18/09 on youtube. The count is at 326. for 2 WEEKS. See what happens if you try. Whether counted or not, its a good feature.
Fr. Murphy and all did a great job! It was a relief and pleasure to FINALLY see sane and balanced coverage of St Saviours.
And, as always, you can call 718-768-2560 for a fresh, daily homily. Wishing you peace and all good.joanmoore

Since the viewing numbers havent moved in DAYS for the 2nd NET story on St Saviours, thought it might have something to do with how the preservation society has posted it on that site. Here is the link to the real story at St. Saviours. It begins 6 min. and 33 sec. (not 6:08) into the Currents broadcast of 12/18/09.

So glad to see Fr. M's first online video appearing again on the sidebar.............please call 718-768-2560 for a fresh daily reflection (except on Monday) on the day's readings.

Especially on the stressful days try to give a call. You will only find encouragement and positive inspiration.

God bless and peace to all....joanmoore

You can also catch Fr. Murphy blessing the animals in Prosect Park on 10/3/09 in honor of St. Francis. Search "Blessing of the animals ,Fido in Prospect Park Father Murphy officiating" here on youtube.

It's a fun and sweet 2 minutes!
Enjoy ~ joanmoore

For some reason Fr. M's 1st youtube homily is no longer popping up on the sidebar links. If you are interested please don't stop at the second reflection here. You can find the first one easily by entering
Saint Saviour's Homily Line 2009 - Father Murphy's very first introduction to the on-line audience
in the search box.

Peace to all ~ joanmoore

Since John H(CJ) and his pals have posted this link at the Brooklyn Courier Yournabe site, thought you might like to check it out. The article is Unity & Healing at St. Saviours. Also, want to suggest you check out the 2 bonafide youtube homilys of Fr. M. popping up on this page. He really is exceptional. His homily line is still 718-768-2560 and hes still the pastor of St Saviours wishing you all a holy advent and the joy and peace that Jesus birth promises all of us. joanmoore

Please,John H/Jherbert/Anonymous, dont tell the Pope! I think its very traditional to accept the authority of the Pastor given by the Bishop. You are traditional, right? So maybe its time for you to start practicing what you preach. Time will tell what God has in mind for St Saviours. We cant presume to know what that is but its simple to understand He expects us to help not resist, to build up not tear down. So, come on over to St. Saviours! Come, see for yourself. Peace ~joanmoore

I am sure Bishop DiMarzio really appreciated this homily hotline and allowing non-priests to give homilies. I am also certain Bishop DiMarzio appreciates all the letters, media attention and comments from fellow clergy about the "wonderful" things happening at Saint Saviour. Fortunately, we will soon commence rebuilding at our Parish, and I don't mean another new kitchen in the rectory or kicking the nuns out of the convent. Rebuilding will start in June 2010 under new leadership.
