try 2nd gear around 8 or 9k rpm .. if it doesn t work .. try higher rpm's ... and avoid 1st gear power , u dont wonna loop the bike .

@liquidx002 hey um dude ive been doing wheelies for like 6 or 7 years we were just messing around and the bike has too much power for 2nd gear with the gearing i have and also if you didnt notice it was really freakin windy

@02rsturbo well thats how i do them , i only cutch it in 2nd any speed and it comes up smooth .

if you clutch it you will have more rpm left , and boucing an r1 in 3rd gear !! 3500 rpm. thats almost impossible ( unless you were missing with the sprockets) and i would love to see a video of that

the only way i can get mine up in 3rd is clutching it and bouncing at the same time

@liquidx002 thats cause you dont know how to wheelie, im not trying to be a douche but ive never used the clutch and i never chase my 3rd gear wheelies i have 2 down 3 up sprockets too you have the same problem my buddy with his 07 he cant get it bounced up in 3rd to save his life but i do on his bike all the time

i have an 09 and i just dropped a tooth in the front sprocket... mine picks up like crazy now

the bike is unbelivable awsome,you're a very talented rider,the best looking bike ever is the 07-08 r1,but try weargin some gear,noth worth risking your life just for being cool,it will be such a waste of talent,and try to remove those ugly mirros,the stock one were much more cooler,stay safe bro!

I bounce just like you but I got a stock bike, 3rd gear only at 7000rpm, but it rocks highspeed stand up wheelie. Did I just read 3500RPM?? Big sprockets I supose.
