Curveball: Reporter Bob Drogin on "Spies, Lies, and the Con Man Who Caused a War"
We speak with Los Angeles Times reporter Bob Drogin about his new book, Curveball: Spies, Lies, and the Con Man Who Caused a War. It examines how a former Iraqi taxi driver helped build the Bush administration's case for war by making false claims about Saddam Hussein's alleged biological and chemical weapons programs. [includes rush transcript]

So are you defending Bush and his administration for being so gullible? Curveball admitted he lied, and he did it to seek asylum in Germany and to be on their intelligence payroll. A refugee like him as reliable? To start a war of that scale? Seriously, and you defend Bush?
They used every reason they could find to start that war, without any due diligence (like honest people WOULD). We know they had plans before 911. My goodness, you rank and file R's are even worse than libs

Bush cited information that you believe was false. Let me claer this up for you. If a person is given information that is believed to be true, but later turns out to be inaccurate, it is not a lie. it is simply an incorrect statement. Liberals aren't smart enough to see the difference. This idiot doesnt understand that we KNOW that Iraq had WMD's, they used them on the Iranians and the Kurds.

you should do some fact checking before regurgitating something you heard on limbaugh or fox news. the journalism groups in question are the center for public integrity and the fund for independence in journalism.
Neither one has any ties to George Soros...their contributors can be found by visiting the respective websites. the only joke in any of this is that you're lying in order to justify 935+ documented lies by this administration.

Gotta love people who can't hear the truth. Your "logic" says that if the "wrong" people say something that's true, it somehow "makes it" not true.
Sorry, but it ain't so. True is true. And false is false.
You're falling for that moral relevance thing that FAUX and the Corporatists accuse liberals of, even as they rely on it themselves.
Truth can't depend on who says it, and a lie is a lie, even if your heroes tell it.
