  • @1Mellodee Hey! We use that kind of synth. are we not metal enough?

  • @1Mellodee Hey! We use that kind of synth. i guess we're not metal enough :/

  • idk what people are on about but the bass and the acoustic and even piano would be very useful for prog/modern metal.

  • These machines will never sound the same as those of the greatest who played the instrument when it was nothing but wood and some strings.

  • damn that's cool.

  • @omniwebs Mine never worked that great either. So I bought a Brian Moore guitar with all that stuff built in and it works great! Like anything else, you do have to do a little tweaking with the hardware to get it all optimized, but in my opinion, it is totally worth the extra effort. And I had to really clean up my picking technique, but that's a good thing, right?

  • @chopperharris100 Yes that would be the ultimate way to go, but spitting the $300 for a bar gig would be pretty tough with a horn section..., let alone trying to fit everyone on those tiny stages!

  • @nugma - ?? Not true- over the last 15-20 years ( depending on what type of music you listen to) half of the synth tones you hear on CD's are triggered by either Guitar synths or Keys ( and in some instances Electronic Drums! ) Practical Guitar synth use has been going on since the 80's...the way technology is now you can't tell who's doing What on a recording these days.
