There are many ways to improve the speed of Minecraft. Here's probably one of the easiest.
This is the ram code used in the video: -Xincgc -Xmx4096M
Always be sure you have the latest JAVA installed for your OS.

@HeavyHearts666 Well, its not going to use all the RAM allocated unless it needs to, so if your recording, I would leave it default. If your not, then about xmx524m.
