  • at first i was mad with the movir too, but if you think about it i do not think that they where trying to pull off the old epic. I think they where trying a tale that got distorted as it passed through time kind of thing, like beowulf wasnt actually as heroic as he was in the "stories".

  • so cain was a half-man half-demon?

  • The beginning of the track is magnificent. The best track of the soundtrack, to me.

  • and so y are you calling him gobshite if its just a movie lol sides its not just a movie its one of the oldest stories known

  • No, definitely in the poem. I promise. Look it up - Beowulf's conversation with Unferth.

  • in the movie but not in the myth...

  • You are in fact incorrect. In the text, Beowulf explains to Unferth that whilst racing Breca he was attacked by a sea monster and, being dragged to the bottom of the sea, he had to kill it.

  • the original reason was he stopped and helped the opponent b/c he was drowning, ( b/c they were friends). but the guy took all the credit for the win. and Beowulf didn't care. That was in the text.
