  • Do they have Dive motivators at Bootcamp? Also do you anything about when they test people to try out for Navy Diver? I turn 17 March 1, and I talked with a recruiter already and told me that I couldn't start processing until I'm senior in highschool. So I'm taking my Senior year in summer and fall of 2012. So once I get my diploma can I just sign the dotted line and ship off that next week? or do I HAVE to do DEP?

  • @DIVERPRESSLEY If you are signing up for Diver then they should let you DEP in before the start of the fall semester, since there is generally a wait on leaving for bootcamp. My wait was 6 months.Usually people who do not DEP are people going UNDES or BM (you don't want those). And if you are in a special program like Navy Diver, I believe you get put in a special Division that focuses more on swimming so you would have possibly "Dive Motivators". I just got pushed off a platform.

  • I have 9 days til RTC and I was wondering if I should cut my hair before bootcamp.

  • @TheBriannaReynolds If you don't then they will. It is up to you though. I cut mine before and they still cut it again before boot was over. Remember: CHIN LENGTH, as in the bottom of your earlobe, or shorter. Good Luck!

  • Your hair is out of regs/ Barely, but out.

  • @clnphimu um... no. it doesn't reach the bottom of my collar in this video. It was definately months before my hair starting going in a bun

  • @Armorhead81789 chances are 37 is not good enough for medical fields. For the most part the navy is trying to take on only scores of 50 and above on the asvab.

  • @Armorhead81789 I am sure you can. I don't know the numbers on each job but that should be pretty good.

  • @thepoised1snc I think only if you are undesignated.

  • @nickJ5959 we wear other uniforms

  • @AllanLando it depends. I shipped after 6 months
