There's nothing wrong with feeling strongly on politics, but it's ok as a NIN fan to admit Year Zero didn't suck you in right away. I choose to forget about the little "Bush stage" he was going through because how many shitty bands relied on Bush and politics to release an album? I will never put NIN in that shitty category (because they're not). He's sober now so of course the music is changed. Trent still has a lot of anger he can focus on.

@seldomme14 He means in our generation, not many teens will hear him because of the stupid bullshit that is being put out and the fact that he doesn't really advertise for himself that much. Most people in our generation would call his stuff as screamo crap and just ignore it. They like soothing simplistic sounds instead of using their brain and hearing the truth behind the lyrics and the beauty behind the instrumentals.
