June 19 2009,
An early morning thunderstorm causes larger hailstones to fall in Marengo, IL. This is very uncommon for us, a few of the larger stones were measured at approx 1.5in in diameter. The storm moves past Marengo and indicated strong rotation. A tornado warning was issued to Huntley and the Crystal Lake area but the storm fell apart before reaching the destination.
You can hear Dave in the video question if there may be rotation in the storm before the warning was issued.
We have also included videos of the street flooding along HWY 20 outside of Coral, IL and along Prospect St. in Marengo at the Nissan Plant.

I remember that storm. We live in a Lustron home (all steel frame & metal roof), and it sounded like someone dropping large rocks on the house lol. First time I've seen hail that size. It put a few small dents in our truck.
