Logo, that is simply not true. What is *best* for a child is being raised in a loving, secure, stable home. I grew up with two gay dads, and I would not have traded them in for the world. They were both excellent parents, and I got the exact same unconditional love and affection that I would have gotten from a mom and a dad. It's sad that some people refuse to see that and refuse to accept that gay couples can parent just as well as straight couples.
I hope you know that in my heart my mom left me when I was young (never there, never cared). For some people, having a mom is wonderful, but you cant place that judgment on everyone. Since you said that our child deserves the best, I think you should provide a home and a family for child in the world that doesn't have families nor homes. While they are trying save children and give them the best they can, you are trying to bash them. So who's the wrong one now?
You are under the same mis-guided reasoning of others that think "ALL" homosexual people that want to become parents are better then the mother that left you. That is SO far from the truth! They have the same character defects, same relationship problems and even more so, carry homosexual family baggage that simply comes from being a homosexual family. I hope you understand what I have said in my other comments on here and become more awake to reality (i say that with love) Jenni
People make life so hard. Kids dont care who there parents are they care that they are getting love and atention. My daughter is 4 and she yunderstands her story. She is happy and content with her two dads. When people ask me where her mother is I say she is adopted her mother wasnt able to provide the home that my litle girl needed.
Your thoughts are at least kind at best, however, yes, although its true that a child does not HAVE to have both parents to be well adjusted, I would have given my left arm to have had a mother to have grown up with. To learn what mothers teach daughters as opposed to only having men as i grew up. Untold amount of time i spent wondering, "IF"? Most people stick their foot in their mouths when they think that two men could raise me better then to have a mom as I grew! Jenni
Wow....the last answer of the adorable little girl is really proving everything. It's straightforward and very convincing. And, it comes out of the mouth of a kid. A kid will never lie. Thank you so much for posting this video. =)

you don't need a vagina to play a the "mother" rol, certainly having a vagina does not mean you will be a good mother either. Gender is irrelevant.
Gay parents are very capable of teaching their children what any mother/father in the world can teach. Same as single parents do these days.
