Causes of ADHD can range from brain damage or injury, or ADHD symptoms from an improper diet and mineral and vitamin deficiency. People with ADHD tend to be very sensitive especially to foods and ingredients in them. To much sugar and little protein can cause symptoms to be very bad and uncontrollable.

what about if a child is experiancing mental abuse at home, and can't tell others about it, and the parents hide the fact.

@gettingahandle There are many possibilities. Anything that makes the body act out of order (disorder), can show up as symptoms.

Did you ever try to stay on a Gluten free diet...??? It's almost impossible...! I have ADD, Celiac Disease and come from a two month premature birth... 63 years ago.

@ThomasDeLello Its impossible if you are eating a lot of processed foods. If your not eating those, then its not a problem.

Me too I have Gluten sensitivity (Celiac Disorder) that is neutrons malabsorption that causing ADHD symptoms. I wish I had smart parents, I would've invented outernet.

Why wouldn't you want to cure this disorder? I would think a person who's suffering from this problem would live a much happier life if he or she could be cured from it for good.

Learning disorders likw ADD are a lot more common among prematurely born people... like me.
