What amazes me is that this is pretty much all freshmen and sophomores.
I saw this band on Saturday night at BOA Houston and was IMPRESSED. The Vandegrift band was my favorite out of all the ones I saw, and when the announcer said they were only in their second year of competition, I was blown away. So congrats to a great little band on their outstanding performance last year and Saturday night. :)

in time quite a bit harder to stay in time, which is the point that johnnysax was trying to make. I'm sorry that you have so much animosity towards the tiny band that probably beat you, I assume that's why you're mad. It's okay though, it won't be any easier to beat us this year as we've doubled in size and gained a battery.

The fact that we didn't have a battery is not a point for saying, "yeah we're so good that we don't even need a battery," because of course everybody knows that a band sounds better without a battery, since you seem rather slow I'm going to point out that that last comment was sarcasm. @gweest10692 Actually? I am in a past BOA band thank you. I know good bands. Very well. Who cares if they don't have percussion? It's not bad or good. It actually makes it harder for them to stay together. but THEY DID!!!! There's a difference between weak and soft. Just because they weren't loud doesn't mean they were weak. That sound was INTENSE. It just wasn't the loudest. Don't hate because this little school is better than yours. I know they are better than mine and we are HUGE. So back off
