My grandad...always calling us kids a trip 'ound or toe rag. But my favourite was when he said a newborn grandchild looked like a "tuppence ha'penny rabbit.' To which my grand replied..."give over Bert, I'll give you a thick ear."

I would love a copy of the series. I bought the book way back in 1986. I bought a
2nd hand copy on Amazon recently , for a friend in the US and it cost peanuts
