I was only 5 when 9/11 struck, when my country suffered a wound that will never be healed. 10 years later, I look back at it as the reason why I am on this earth. It is because of that day, that I too will soon take the step into the world of defending the United States of America. Now I must soon look back on the Day of Infamy. And may it give me one more reason as to why I am a future U.S. Army Soldier. God bless this country, and too all the men and women in harms way, we are behind you.

i remember leaving the airport and seeing our troops return home and when they walk into the terminal no one is there to great them or say thank you.

thats a damn fine reason, but i have some advice for ya kid, dont let the politics get to you. cause when that 1st bullet flys by your head, you can throw politics out the door. cause in the end all we were fighting for each other, and our home.
